Duna-Dráva Cement Kft. is a joint venture owned by two Germany based companies: Heidelberg Materials and Baustoffgruppe Schwenk - both of them operate in building materials industry.

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world’s largest integrated manufacturers of building materials and solutions, with leading market positions in aggregates, cement, and ready-mixed concrete. Baustoffgruppe Schwenk is a family-owned company founded in 1847. Beside cement production their activity and services cover further sectors of the building materials industry. The company operates several cement plants in Germany and has ready-mixed concrete business interests as well. Baustoffgruppe Schwenk also has interests in Ohorongo Cement, which is Namibia’s first cement-producing company.
