Bird-Friendly Nature Trail in Beremend

The purpose of the Napsugár (Sunshine) Kindergarten in Beremend is to familiarise the little ones with herbs and birds, thereby developing an eco-friendly attitude in them. The teaching of loving and respecting nature can not be started soon enough, the settlement – within the framework of the Green Solution Tender – has made an exemplary step now towards this.

From now on the pupils of the Napsugár Kindergarten in Beremend will be able to get acquainted directly with the bird population of the surroundings, with the help of a study trail created especially for this purpose.This project is funded and supported in part by a HUF 1.000.000 grant from DDC.

The project was inaugurated on the 21st April 2017, the representatives of the settlement, the kindergarten, and Duna-Dráva Cement Ltd. attended the event.  Zoltán Guth, the Head of Communication of Duna-Dráva Cement Ltd. welcomed the participants in his speech.  After the acting play of the pupils of the kindergarten, the gates of the study trail were opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
