Fairy Tale Track of Kővágószőlős - Jakab-hegy

The project is designed to introduce children to the value of nature and the history of civilisation in the form of stories. They can also learn about the flora and fauna of the forest where the track is located, and the legends and fairy tales of the region. Storyboards along the hiking trail feature QR codes linking to additional information, and waste bins help to keep the landscape litter-free. The project also includes an exhibition on mining and geology.

On 23 October 2016, the mayor of Kővágószőlős and Head of Communication at DDC Zoltan Guth officially presented the Fairy Tale Track to the public. DDC supported the project with HUF 1.000.000, with a further HUF 300.000 contributed by the local government.
